That grass looks real fresh. :D

Those calves will be sold in early October. Only the grass in a small area looks that "fresh." It is a bit of a hay meadow where the cattle come in to water. They will have to get used to regular old Sandhills grass when the bright green is gone, but the pasture has had no cattle in it yet this summer, so they should do pretty well.

Your calves are sure doing good! Almost makes ya forget how much work it was saving them from the cold and wind and snow when they were born. :D

Gee Soapweed, why don't you trade in some of those Sandhills for more meadow and lush grass? Calves sure look good. When are you selling?
