Ya got a little mud running down outta those saddle blankets, Soap.
Was it hot, or did you have a long ride?
At any rate, those mud tracks sure make for good horses.

Thanks for the pictures.

We put on quite a few miles this morning. The horse I am riding was purchased three years ago for $800. He was a very green broke six-year-old at the time. I was just starting to ride him last fall before suffering digital distress, so he has been put on hold since then. I did try to sell him last week at the horse sale, and was only bid $300. Decided to bring him back home and put him to work. Today was his first day on the job. Now he is nine years old, and after today is not quite as green as he was.  He is registered and a great grandson of Frosty Feature, so has the potential to turn into a good horse. Time will tell.
