AVALANCHE WARNING
In effect for the Western mountains until midnight on Sunday, January 22
This avalanche warning is in effect for the mountains of Western Wyoming including the Teton...Gros Ventre...Snake River...Salt River and Wyoming ranges...and the west slope of the Wind River Range and the Togwotee Pass area. Heavy snow and strong winds have created very dangerous avalanche conditions. Medium to large natural avalanche activity is likely and has already impacted area roadways. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
