What does Fox project in terms of election results?
House is definitely going Democrat- now they think the Senate may too...Both CNN and Fox are calling it big wins by "conservative Democrats"- many of which are anti gun control, anti abortion, anti gay marriage...Both are now using the term "old style Democrats"....
I can believe that they are anti gun control and even anti gay marriage, but in Tennesse supposedly Harold Ford who is a devout man and anti abortion lost to the Republican Corker.

I have to say that Kola and I told y'all that the Bush administration was becoming more and more unpopular with the people and that to me is what this election demonstrates. It's not just about Iraq, it's about not funding scientific research, polarizing the nation, racking up a huge deficit, being arrogant, ruining the US's standing in the international community, being hypocritical and jaded in how they championed certain issues (anti stem cell, anti abortion, end of life issues), meddling in state's rights issues (Terry Schiavo), politicizing the USDA, backing big business, supporting multinational companies, being anti-environment (and I am by no means a rabid Sierra Club person but really   ). I could go on and on. The people have sensed that this administration is arrogant, incapable of admitting error, unwilling to cooperate even with their own party, secretive, and hypocritical.

And the radio is off the air.
Ok, Reader 2, from not mentioning arrogance before, we've just
about worn it out now.
So much for liberalism. Looks like you old hippie liberals are on your way out. :lol2:reader (the Second) said:CNN is talking about how the Democrats purposely put up more conservative candidates. It's about time.
I am not as pessimistic as you about the Congress being soft on terrorism with the Dems. And I have reason to be optimistic having lived in a country -- Israel -- that both champions democracy and civil liberties and is tough on terrorism. In my opinion, the current administration crossed the line where Israel has been vigilent not to cross the line in spite of the horrific threat they face daily.

nenmrancher said:Sorry I didnt get to finish my what I was going to say. Yes the Dems may have control of congress but they do not have numbers to override any thing that the pres vetos or to force the Republicans to do any thing. I think we will see at least two more years of nothing but finger pointing and blaming for any and everything that either party does not like. I just dont see anything changing, like Econ said I hope I am wrong but I just dont see things changing.
