Was thinking of using something like this to put some bales for dm out in fields where going to graze triticale and oats and what not. Any comments or brands that are better than others?

Got a cattleman's choice economy grazer. The one with wood inserts. Very strong. I flip it over a couple times a year to clean out. Just lift with loader and let it go. Only thing I have done is rescrewed thecwood in a couple spots. The 24 ft can easily feed 50 head for a day with ground hay

Did you see this one on NexTech Classifieds?

For awhile, there was some guy selling homemade ones. He used big gas pipeline. They looked nice. Very professional work. I didn't find his ad when I looked. I have one of the older wagons that holds 3-5 bales. It was difficult to get all the netwrap or string off bales and the cows tore out a lot of ear tags reaching in. I've thought these feeders looked good.

We use Stur-D feeders. They are double tough and finished well so livestock
can't get their feet stuck in one. I googled it, but the page wouldn't load.
They are made in Carson, ND. Website should be www.stur-d.net. Maybe you can get it to work. All their livestock handling equipment is user friendly and really stout.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. Another friend told me about one of these. Looks pretty slick shouldn't have any excuses for not cleaning it out. Not sure I want to spend this much but we will see.

We buy most of our stuff from these folks. People who have these feeders in our areas seem to like them
