Just a few pictures of the meadows and sunflowers from the air. Everything looks so smooth and manicured from the plane...to bad when driving it with the pickup it shakes my XM loose!!!lol

The lake is in the middle of the hayfield. Takes up about 250acres of ground.

The yellow patches are sunflowers ...just for Lilly LOL

Caught the sun with the wing of the plane, so it had a cool reflection on the water...

Jassy, curious as to how many bales yall put up a year? And is that your only hay field (in the last photo)?

Ok....I was waitin for someone else to ask......What's an XM......and just how painful is it when it gets shook loose? :p

Hubby keeps the XM in his tractor during haying season and then puts in back in his pick-up during calving and feeding season!! XM is satellite radio....much needed and pretty handy out here in the boonies where you are lucky to get 1 radio station to come in clear...he listens to "Hanks Place"...or is it "Willy's Place" now!!?? :???: :???:

HeHe, I kinda figured that's what it was. Just givin Jassy a hard time LOL

I guess we are lucky in that respect, we have tons of radio stations and don't hafta have satellite radio.

WE have Sat radio here in two of the cars.. cCAn't say I use it all to much but it does come in handy on real long drives when you are chasing radio stations.. I remember driving through Wyoming and parts of Montana when man, there just wan't much if you wern't in the mood for what was on the 4 stations you could get..

Since we're not done quite yet, I don't know the total count yet on the bales..and yes we have at least 15 different meadows we hay..some small some large...the one in the photo is the largest meadow.

Now lilly...hubby is a good pilot..he wouldn't fly low enuff to see if the water is pumping water or what color a tag is of a cow with you aboard..lol course if ya want to see the sunflowers from that point of view, I'm sure he would oblige..lol

If I didn't have XM, out here in God's country...I'd have to sing and my poor dog would probably run away....and the cows would never come into feed..lol! During caking season..the cows really enjoy the "big tracks" station..good ole rock and roll..lol course they are really quiet when George Strait is singing too....and that's no joke!lol
