Haymaker, As her close advisor, I will tell you that MRJ is making progress with her gin drinking problem. She has promised me that she will start leaving the vermouth out of her Martini's and slowly switch over to a good bottle of wine when she gets the urge (DT's) for an afternoon cocktail.

This is a sensitive and personal dilemma that she must get through within herself. Your calling for her expulsion might push her over the edge and all the work I have done thus far will be for naught.

Please be patient for a short while longer and ignore her calling you names even though you didn't make the post she was referring to. Maybe she will acknowledge her mistake and apologize which can only serve to signify her progress.

Dear Dr Mike:
I was not aware of the fact that her problem was that serious, and that she was being treated for it,the fact that she is seeking medical help, puts this in a different perspective.
I hereby retract my request for the ole woman's expulsion, pending your medical evaluation ................good luck

I dont read all the threads on here but I have yet to have read a post of MRJs where she has not conducted herself as a lady and a very knowledgable one at that.
When I joined this forum I did not agree with MRJ about much of anything.
Now I realize that she knows more about the business <market>side of the industry than I do.

Knowing a lot about something and having the intelligence to use it are two different things. I never mind questions that are meant in good faith no matter how ridiculous they may sound.

I do mind questions that are not in good faith like Jason's cwt or MRJ's idiot questions where she knows the answers and isn't thinking, or SH's diversionary questions like using marketing agreements (gun in the analogy) as a weapon (guns don't kill people, people kill people) and claiming that marketing agreements are legal (guns are legal) so that makes any use of them legal (when you shoot someone with a gun during a crime it is generally considered illegal even if the owning of that very gun was legal).

Having said that, I think it is a mental condition shared by the obstinate packer backers on this forum, not the producer backers. We can't outlaw ignorance, we can only allow them to show it and point it out.

I probably shouldn't reply here, but what the heck! Oooops, please excuse my us of an obscenity, folks!

That charge, especially from Haymaker, is a real hoot! My friends and family nearly drop their jaws if I am so moved as to use the word "hell"!

My "drinking buddies" would chuckle at the "drinking problem" and the owners of the local pub would more likely cry, considering the amount of money they make off my "habit". [smile]

What really irritates me is the poll, since they are bogus at best!!!

Thanks to those who supported me, and more thanks to those who realize and appreciate the better qualities of this site when Haymaker is in jail and can't gain access to his computer.[wink, wink]

I probably shouldn't enjoy my ability to drive him bonkers with accuracy in refuting so many of his claims. Guilt is overwhelming me at the moment over these two points.[She said, facetiously.]

Roper AB, you are very kind. Thank you. Glad you can see through the "fog" of mis-information and deception some use.

Roper AB: "When I joined this forum I did not agree with MRJ about much of anything. Now I realize that she knows more about the business <market>side of the industry than I do."

That took a real man to say that.

MRJ has been criticized by industry blamers both locally and at this site and I can assure you that when it comes to "putting your time and money where your mouth is", nobody has fought harder for the betterment of this industry than MRJ and her husband. They have forgot more about this industry, as a whole, than most producers will ever know. Their latest political battle deals with repeal of the death tax so more producers can pass their hard work on to their children without the government taking a huge cut of it.

It's this type of mindless thread that is so common amongst those who have nothing but emotion to back their positions. DENY, DISCREDIT, DECEIVE, DIVERT! The mode of operation of a blamer.

Idiots like Hayseed will go to great lenghts to try to discourage those who present the facts to offset the lies being spread by the industry blamers that he supports.

Funny how his heros can't seem to find success within the legal system if they are right.

There is definitely two factions in this industry. Blamers who want more goverment intervention then criticize the very agencies that have to enforce their stupid laws, and those who base their decisions on truth and facts.

keep up the good work MRJ! Everyone knows the intellect of Hayseed and other mindless followers like him.

HAHAHA! What an arrogant son of a gun!

Nobody has been proven wrong on this site more than you have. NOBODY!

Your evaluation of the two sides in this industry could not be more wrong. This is not about packer backers and producer backers, this is about emotional packer blamers with no facts to back their opinions vs. those who base their opinions on truth and fact.

To think that packer blamers speak for the producer is more arrogance.

You don't speak for producers, you are nothing but a lying voice for the blaming side of this industry. You're a complete phony at best . I've lost track of how many of your lies I have had to correct.

Your latest and greatest is that a statement from "some lady at Walmart" is proof that Walmart sells "select" beef as "choice". What a moron.

I would absolutely love to debate you publicly. What a hoot that would be.

Who is involved in the continuous childish name calling?

Perhaps the burden of proof something you can not attain, SH. You have a different burden for packers and for producers.

Have you done your own investigation yet? Beefman, have you? I gave you the information so you could.

You called me a "liar" on it with no proof or evidence at all and I provided it to you. You just will not accept it. Are you vying for a federal judgeship?

Tyson knows what giving $100,000 to the President's innaugarel gets you.

How many regular cattlemen have done the same? Bush seems to like loyalty over integrity. His top man in the House, Delay, is proof of that. You just have to think a little and connect the dots.

This White House, and Republican lead House and Senate, who have had no committee hearings on these important issues to cattlemen have not fought for integrity of our system or the USDA and neither has the NCBA.

Why did they let JoAnn Waterfield off so easily? Connect the dots.

Haymaker-- I had to vote no....Maxines posts give me faith that R-CALF membership and influence will keep growing- altho I know all NCBAers are not as ill informed as she is- she epitomizes the bank owner, big money tied thinking that make up much of the policy pushed by the NCBA leadership....

And besides I know her posts and son SH's have influenced several people to join R-CALF  ......

Quite a poll you came up with Haymaker. I don't like or agree with something so let's BAN it.

Kind of the R-calf way I guess.
