Hubby got the fir out on the basement done.
Too cold to do the kitchen upstairs, no heat.
He's talking about doing as much electrical as he can down here.
Since I got knocked off that water hydrent when the meter pole shorted
out, he's on his own with that project.

Those trusses look like they are laying on the side of the 2 x 4 instead of the edge. If they are, when did they start that. Guess they would work just fine since they are engineered to support the weight.

I have never seen truss built that way before.

I see that you added to the basement ruminative appliances too?!

Here are the builders putting the trusses down.
They had butted up to the pony wall.

No. The radiant heat is going to be a pad that we will put on top of the cement floor with thinset and then tile on top of it.
It is electrical.

Talked to hubby about doing it and he was set against it. We have baseboard heat in our present house and the troubles we had for years with the old furnance really put him off to doing that. Plus he was concerned about a pipe breaking in there and having to tear up the floor.
I just let the issue lie.

Haymaker it is going to be 4608 square feet.
Wish we could have done the loft, but that was more money then we had to start it.
Loft or windows and doors?
No loft.
