I marched right into the Courthouse yesterday and handed them my ballot. Not fooling with ballot boxes that get stolen or set on fire.
 
I saw on the news last night that the businesses in Portland were boarding up. Like they are expecting a riot tonight or tomorrow. Is that a sign of an early election prediction? Sort of like Ground Hog Day or the Indians having lots of fire wood means it is going to be a cold winter.
 
I love living right in the center of these United States of America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸And thankful no one else does. 😂 We get mail-in ballots two weeks ahead and travel sixty miles to our county seat to hand them in.
 
I was on the ballot for the local soil and Water conservation district. Watched the election returns until late last night. All they talked about was Trump and Harris. Not a word about my election. These news media people don't know what is important. I had to look up the results on Elkhorn Media (a local internet news media). I won 100% of the vote. Of course I was running unopposed.

In my mind Trump was unopposed too. My wife was losing sleep over the last couple nights about Harris winning,while I was asleep within seconds of my head hitting the pillow every night.Not worried one bit.
 
Mr. FH stayed up long enough for Trump to be declared the winner. This morning he said he slept better than he had in a long while. 😊

He's going to have hip replacement surgery and is very ready to have it done.
The pre-op is scheduled for Nov. 20 so the surgery should be close behind.
I told him I'd never seen him like this before (hurting and limping around). He said
"I've never been 80 before."

If you have any tips for after-surgery, let us know!!!
 
The physical therapy is extremely important, even more so at our age.
Farrier had knee surgery, didn't do any therapy, said he sat around with his leg propped up,
waiting for it to heal.
No one(Dr.'s) told him he should do therapy.
 
We have a horseman friend who is very active and very athletic. He had one hip replaced, didn't do PT and got along fine. I had a fit when he said he wasn't doing PT, but he showed me up. He got the second hip replacement and again, didn't do PT. He had no problems. He has told Mr. FH how to use a clothes hanger to get his socks on. 😊

Mr. FH WILL do PT, I assure you!
