Shauna has to work till noon so we might be tight for time but if we have any we'll sure try-your cows are too hard to go admire out grazing and such lol. Are there any bulls on test in Vermilion this year?

Winds were howling over here yesterday. Still blowing this morning. Came home from Great Falls in a ground blizzard. Passed a state plow truck in the ditch.
Had a couple of oh crap moments on the roads
Just glad our county guys got that one corner plowed out or there would have been no way to get home.

Biggest problem with the roads here now is that you can't tell where the road ends and the ditch begins- everything is snow... Not bad when the sun is out--but when its cloudy and dreary- or snowy or foggy- like about everyday has been, everything blends together...

There's bulls on test in Vermillion, just not the type you're looking for. The ones you like are out on my swath grazing, which is only 45 miles south of Viking.

This is what the sky looked like here yesterday and will again today. When that arch disappears we will join all of you with winter again.

Per showing us Saskatchewan boys a Chinook arch is like looking at the cleavage on the cover of Cosmo. :D

We might get all excited but we won't get any closer then getting the cold shoulder.

Ohh not going to buy one I just like to look-I've got four bulls off the Edwards dispersal cows I bought-I should get one that will work I'm hoping-the poor dears are struggling along on straight hay. I can't wait for the calves from the Biggs bulls I'm kind of glad my cow deal fell through this fall-I'm going to get about 60 calves a piece from Dylan's two bulls.

I spent part of the day helping a neighbor haul his heifers in to the sales ring....61 head--About 1/2 his heifers- that he normally sells private treaty or sells at one of the cow/replacement sales in Feb..

But because of this weather we're having- and the battle he's had trying to fight plowing in almost daily to feed them- along with the forecast winter snowstorm and prolonged arctic cold spell- he decided to sell early...

He did not look a bit disappointed today about having to sell early- after the sale when he said they weighed 687- brought $1.20- which = $824 per head... :D :D

My hay trucker got another load in tonight so were almost good till end of the month-that self loading truck is good at dumping bale grazing bales out.
