I just checked the out door thermometer....28 C out there. For you Americans we're sitting at around 80F. The orange ,yellow red leaves are the prettiest I've seen in alot of years. This Canuck could get really used to this weather..... :)

Its sittin at 21C here today, was at least 22/23 yesterday. Today I managed to slide my butt down the porch stairs , took my walker with me and managed to make it to the far end of the lean-to and scrambled onto the quad and went for a much needed drive (escape)... ALONE!!, well Brannah came for the jog :D :D :D . Got water to the horses too. They're not overly well looked after if I'm not around or can't do it :x

Probably has coats hanging on every fence post. Take'm off one at a time all day and then put them back on as it cools.

Isn't that why they invented extended cabs? Have a year round wardrobe back there, might use it all in one day. Way too hot here, harvest is still in full swing and the heat does keep the grain dry. Good for something I suppose.

If you had been at the sale yesterday I could have filled you in on the weather.
You could have also consoled me as I gave a load of cows away, should have abandoned haying in mid-August and gathered them then. Kersley was hot, wolves had been working on the cattle and the dispatcher sent the truck to our home place instead of the pasture we rented. The truck was right on time....270 miles from where he was supposed to be.

Oct 4 and we're getting one heck of a thunder&lightning storm...wierd!!!Its usually its a blizzard...

Yep same here-80 degrees here the last week- then tonite thunder, lightning, wind and it dumped rain for 3-4 minutes, then went to drizzling....Supposed to have rain or showers thru Monday....

They say this is a spin off from a Pacific typhoon

Weather boys say there is a polar front coming down from Alaska later next week- and temps will drop below normal...

We're getting thunder storms again here tonight  Thunder-lightning- and about .15 of rain....

But the weather boys say that is changing fast- with low temps down in the 20's by the weekend and the possibility of snow....

That's because of our Thyroid glands. 70 in spring is soooo different than 70 in fall.

WILL TURN TO ALL SNOW BY FRIDAY. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TONIGHT WILL
LIKELY RANGE FROM NO ACCUMULATION TO 3 INCHES...WITH GREATEST
AMOUNTS OVER THE HIGHER RIDGES. A PROLONGED PERIOD OF OCCASIONALLY
HEAVY SNOW IS THEN POSSIBLE FROM FRIDAY THROUGH THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR UP TO A FOOT OF SNOW ACROSS MUCH
OF THE AREA BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS OFF SUNDAY NIGHT
. ONE TO
TWO FEET OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE
ALONG THE EASTERN FOOTHILLS OF THE
BIG HORN MOUNTAINS AND NEAR THE PRYOR MOUNTAINS.
