Part of the problam with the crops is the fluctuations in the temps. SOOOO hot one week,freezing cold the next.Add no moisture at all to speak of and you have us...Greg and I passed a crop field yesterday,not too far from our place...they had electric fenced the crop and turned the cattle into it....I thought greg was going to cry,he was pretty upset. said he'd never seen that in as long as he could remember.....per said:Mrs.Greg said:We're already up to +30 this morning. -9 when you can see July is not beautiful. -7 here 10 days ago sorted out many of the weak in the crop. There must be some redeeming value to 09. Maybe later in the year. :?

Thunderstorms ripped through central AB last night and we got our first real rain.....nice going to sleep hearing that hit the roof.Greg sat out on deck watching the lightning storm,something he loves.
