I went to visit Little Miss Hanna today,Got a pretty smile from her. Shes starting to feel better so is getting a little bored. The nurses are putting her into the chair and slowly weaning her off the respirator.Today was her longest time in the chair and breathing on her own...YAHHHHH Hanna :)

When it was time to leave I gave her a kiss and said I'd see her later, tears ran down her face, pretty soon we were all crying, shes a special lady that has been so tough, our families awfully proud of her and her perserverance :)

Beautiful smile is right.

Isn't it amazing how kids are so resilient?
I hope and pray she is able to overcome her injuries...what a gallant, beautiful child.

She gets better everyday :D They're hoping maybe by the end of next week she'll move out of the pediatric ICU{tough place to visit  } They'll move her upstairs in the Stollery for a month or so then to the Glenrose. She has a long road ahead of her and I saw with her tears yesterday shes finally getting tired of all the poking, prodding and the place.

Hanna's horse crazy, loves her horses{shes the horse artist}...it was her brother that spent months in the stollery last year after a fall off his horse broke him arm, pinned it then got MRSA. So poor Jodi is really HATING the Stollery, shes struggling HARD over the accident,as mom's do TOTALLY blames herself :( Hannas daddys home from work for a short time so hes staying with her until he goes back, and Jodi gets a bit of a hospital break by being home with her two boys.

You guys are all great and I truly believe that the prayers are helping Hanna and her family get through this really tough time....luv you all :)

Ohhh Mrs Greg :( :D Hanna so precious that I wanna cry and smile at the same time.

We've been keeping her and her Mom in our thoughts and prayers...her smile certainly lights up the room.

I feel so bad for Jodi...that has to be the worst feeling in the world even though it wasn't intentional.

She is lucky to have so much loving and caring family surrounding her!

Thanks for the photos and update...

Hanna and Jodi will continue to be in our prayers...

With prayers...

TTB

Hanna is such a pretty little gal. Just wait til she is able to scoot around in a wheelchair after bed confinement and she'll feel vastly liberated. We saw that in a friend's child born paralyzed. Everythiing in her life perked up when she was able to use the tiniest little wheelchair we'd ever seen. I'm still praying that she'll be able to move beyond that stage to walking though and prayers for her folks endurance.

:D Hanna moved out of ICU yesterday.Looks like a couple weeks in the Stollery then to the Glenrose. The Dr. from Glenrose was in to see her yesterday and hes really hopeful that maybe they can get more mobility then she has right now.The nurses said they've never dealt with a child with her injury be so tough and so strong, she doesn't fight anything they do to her and the tears are VERY few.

Corey and Hooks,you guys are GREAT :!: :!: :!: :!:

What a simply amazing little girl!! She is truly an inspiration to us all and the kind of person who makes one stop...look at their own trials and tribulations and think "Wow!!! Look at what this child is enduring and I think I have it so bad!!!??????" sorta snaps you outta your own little pity party!!   She and her whole family (you and greg included)continue to be in all our prayers!! Let her know that her whole "ranchers.net" family are behind her ALL THE WAY!!

I went with my son yesterday to see Hanna and mommy, son took Jodi down to Tims for a well needed break, and I got to bond with Hanna. We had a BLAST,I had brought her bubbles so a bubble war was had, even the nurses were having a good laugh over that, then coloured played games, painted and TALKED...yup shes talking with the trac, and talk she did,her fav story was about her nine year old brother getting a black eye,and about the cream filled donut shes going to eat the minute the tracs out   Shes had NOTHING by mouth since the accident

The respirators gone, shes breathing on her own. The trac's the only thing left, and shes doing amazing, the Diva in her is back...now if we could get mommy on the same track. But hey shes got a huge family that loves her more then anything, and friends on her side too so she'll be OK in time :!: :!:

They figure by the end of next week at the eariest she'll be moved to the Glenrose to help her deal with the paralisis,a change of scenary will be great for her and I hear nothing but GREAT sstuff about the Glenrose,so we're all excited about that...I'll share with you another special pic of Hanna, and the Hope{yup Hanta} and Sparkle she has in her eyes. You guys have all been great support to us,and for that we thank-you from the bottom of our hearts...Greg and Mairi
