For those that asked what I do
This was my latest commission piece it was the customers grandfather's place and he had me paint it
on his grandfather's handsaw.
This was another commission and the guy asked me to paint what ever I wanted as he trusted it would be nice.
This was a piece done for the owner of the US Championship
Cow Dog a few years ago.
This was one of my earlier paintings that I did for the fun
of it and it sold before I even got it framed.
This is the end wall of my gallery where the sketches
I did for my book are displayed so tourists can see them
while I talk about the history.
They are the ranchers, lawmen and outlaws that make
up the history of our area.
I built these two among 4 others (wheels and all) so the tourists can
see what travel was like in the old days.
I had two little girls at the gallery last week that took great pleasure
in giving their grandfather a ride in the stage coach.
They sat one at a time on the drivers seat while the Grandfather rode
inside over the rough imaginary trail they were on.
The look on those kids faces was all I needed to tell me I was
doing the right thing with my time and energy.
Over the years I have had people from all over Canada,
the US and the world coming to the gallery to hear the history.
It is a treat to see all of their reactions. This summer, I've had four
college age students from Tokyo Japan and a couple from Switzerland.
When the ones from Tokyo saw the wagons they yelled picture
time and they took pictures in all of them before they left.
