Well, we were drawn for mule deer around home this year, we seen a few decent ones running around but nothin too special. Opening morning we pushed a couple out, but the only shot I got all day was 400+ yards and running, so I passed on it. Last Saturday was the last day I would have for mule deer, with school, work, and the late harvest getting in the way. I was ready to shoot the first one I seen, just so we had something in the freezer. Well, I came across this guy with his nose to the ground chasing 4 does about six kilometers from the farm. I snuck across the fenceline and cut it down to 250 yards. Needless to day he didn't make it too far after the first shot  The pictures were taken in the yard after I took my orange off, it was too warm for my liking, lol. Here's a few pictures.
He's got a typical 5x5 frame with a small 1 1/4 inch drop tine on one side.. Yes, its small, but it sounds much better when you throw the drop tine in there lol.
