That was a hard decision, and Al's out crawdadding, so he's not gonna be any help.

I like #1.......it's got great colors, and the trees silhouetted against them is very nice.

But............

I also like #2.........the bright edges of the clouds just draw your eye right to them.

But I finally tossed a coin and voted for #2.

Hope that helps...........

I vote for #1 for the diversity in color, and the silhoette of the tree line. It's closer in too with crisp focus, so you get the detail of the trees. This photo is a VERY GOOD Example of taking a photo in 1/3's, and the judges look for that. All are great photo's, but #1's my favorite. good luck with your entry. Let us know how you do.

Although personally, I love #2, I had to vote for #1. It is so well balanced and crisp. the multiple colors, and the sharply focused treeline, and the darker clouds again at the top to balance the silhoueted landscape just make it an excellent choice.

I think our local acheivement days allows for a person to enter 1 enlarged photo by itself, maybe you could enter each as an enlargement, separate from each other (the other way to enter pics is a group of four on photo board- I don't see a grouping for that)
