Biden's patriotism

Joe Biden claims that we need to be more "patriotic" and pay more taxes. I wonder if he took any deductions on his tax returns or if his comment is just more sound good lip flapping like the llama's being his "Brother's keeper" while his own brother lives on $1/month.

Good talkers these libs are.... How gullible is this country?

i don't think it's a matter of patriotism. it's a matter of financial reality that when the govt. is spending trillions on an illegitimate war and bailing out corrupt banks and insurance companies that the money will have to come from somewhere. maybe anyone who says these ventures are good ideas should be expected to pay up. that might cut bush's approval ratings in half again.

My kin are all conservatives. We work and take care of ourselves. My kin doesn't need any of my help.

Do you think Biden is taking any deductions? Wouldn't that, by his new defintion of "patriotic" be unpatriotic?

A matter of financial reality that the libs don't understand is that it is economic suicide to raise taxes when times are hard and citizens don't have liquidity - especially when you raise the taxes of the people who CREATE the wealth instead of simply consume it.

Conservative economist Ben Stein has said for sometime that everyone making over $4,000,000 should be paying a tax surcharge to pay for the war costs and the continuing building costs of the aftermath of the war....

Lot of folks out there now that are now saying these Fatcats with the multimillion dollar jobs and $40 million dollar "golden parachutes" and severance bonus's- that we as taxpayers are now bailing out- should be paying for the cost of this bailout.....

Raising taxes on the wealthy- just got a lot more popular.....

I agree that none of the executives running the companies that we have to bail out should be given anything other than a box to get their personals out of their former offices.

However, back to the topic, neither Ben Stein nor anybody else can change economic law. In order to get out of an economic slowdown, you have to generate economic activity, and taxes mute economic activity. Those are facts, those are real - not the cotton-candy clouds and chocolate rivers the libs promise.
