How about Martina McBride, Lita Ford, Barbara Mandrell, Sylvia, Juice Newton, and Sara Evans. You know there is not a huge number of female rockers that I can think of. I really do like hard rock music, (some of it), but I threw in some for shock value. :wink:

I do NOT like Hip Hop, or Rap music at all.

How about Alannah Myles (sp?), Lee Aaron, or Heart?

I'm no feminist sympathizer, but I think you're not remembering a few important names: Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, and June Carter (Johnny Cash's wife). But I have to agree, the new ones, especially rap, hiphop, pop, etc. are just inimaginably irritating to listen to.
