MUDDY
...OR ABOUT A MILE SOUTHWEST OF THE TOWN OF RESERVE.

THE UPSTREAM RIVER GAGE AT ANTELOPE ALONG BIG MUDDY RIVER REPORTED
AN 11.5 FOOT STAGE AT 1145 PM WEDNESDAY EVENING...WHICH IS JUST
BELOW THE FLOOD STAGE OF 12 FEET. ELEVATED LEVELS WILL CONTINUE

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS

They don't want our beef but they sure want the water.

Lots of water gets dumped into the Big Muddy after if crosses the border,
i think the Bug Muddy is probably the smallest creek going south but every other one feeds it once it is south if the border.

Local creeks have slowed way down with the cooler weather- only got to about 38 today....Still some coulees with quite a bit of snow and some runoff in them...

Most the river water coming in now is from the Cypress Hills melt.....

Wish I'd placed some money on bets this year-- several were saying we'd get no creek runoff this year- and disagreed when I said we would...Ended up with one of the better runs we've had in several years from some of the north creeks....
