" Today is shaping up to be another Severe Weather day in S/E Alberta, South Sask, and Eastern Montana.

There is a very good likelihood of at least a tornado or two. Large hail and very strong winds are also on tap in the region.

Storms should fire up late afternoon in Montana and Alberta and move into SW Sask through the evening and overnight. The largest threat for tornadoes at the moment appears to be in the US/CAN border region during magic hour from 6-7pmish.

Be weather ready in this region. Have a plan for severe weather today. Remember that in a tornado event the best place to be is underground such as a basement.

Team tornado Hunter will be targeting The Big Muddy Badlands area and points west toward Val Marie. Share this post if you have friends and family in the area. "

It was hot and muggy here today with a 30 mph wind, gusting to 45. We have 3 miles of scoria road and to top it off, the county graded the road today. Talk about dust!!!!!!!!!!
That dust will still be there til it rains. I hope that's tonight.

I have asked for our road to NOT be graded; guess they forgot. :?

Stay safe, everyone!

Didn't hit here til almost midnight...First off had some 50-60 mph winds-- then the wind went down and we got a nice easy .4 of rain... Some local folks got as much as almost an inch up by Lustre and Glentana..

Put on a good light show and thunder rumblings- and the temp cooled down to 59 which made for some good sleeping...

Gcreek, you just live way too far south to be getting the warm weather...

I wonder if Mr. FH and I are related?

Could be. Are you tall, dark and handsome???? :p

Seriously, where we go and what we do depends on how hot it is. I know people that don't like heat, but he is almost obsessed with it. I've wondered if he has ever had a sunstroke to make him so sensitive to heat. When it gets over 70, it's HOT to him. A breeze helps, but without a breeze he suffers. Well, he used to suffer. Now he just comes in and waits til evening. :D
