Bill was fired by the Murdocks and will not be returning to FOX due to the sex harassment accusations against Bill and FOX's new zero tolerance policy.

Martha is keeping her time slot with a new show after First 100 Days has run it's course
Tucker is moving to Bill's time slot
The Five is moving to Tucker's Primetime slot with Jesse Watters taking Eric Bolin's chair
and Eric Bolin is getting a new show at The Five's time slot starting on May first
Until Eric show starts Special Report will take the Five's slot and it's own and be two hours long.
Hannity is safe in his time slot.

Will be interesting to see what other changes are going to be coming with Greta, Bill, Meygn, all gone from their primetime time slots within a year.

It's a new face for Fox for sure.
With O'Reilly so popular that he was #1 for decades, it must have been really bad for Fox to oust him.
I quit watching him long ago. He was rude and talked over his guests. I do like Hannity and I like Tucker better than
I thought I would. I like Eric Bolin and Greg Guttfield too.

Tucker seems to be very well versed at arguing with liberals.. he asks them easy questions that they just can't seem to answer..

I'm not at all sure I believe the allegations against OReilly. Following the Megyn Kelly situation so relatively soon, and such an era of 'dirty tricks' to achieve social, political, or financial ends, I just can't help wondering if it was some sort of set up, given the fact of O Reilly's conservative political stands. It has been troubling me for some time that FOX NEWS is softening on liberals, almost in the guise of being more 'fair' now that we actually have every so slightly more leaning toward conservatism in our national government. If my take on that is off, maybe the problem is that liberals have set up this attack on Mr. O. If there were some actual proof shown to us that he actually is 'guilty as accused', that would be a little different. Still, it takes two to play that game, and women have the right to say "no" and hopefully the courage to do so.

OTH. the 'casting couch' route to success for many females in many venues, whether entertainment, business, or politics, has been ongoing, probably since time began. In that same time frame, many women have risen to success WITHOUT going that route! Certainly pressures have been burdensome on women. Does that justify prosecution/persecution of the men? Most especially many years after the incidents????? Additionally, while I don't believe it has been 'healthy', especially mentally and emotionally, but physically can be especially damaging, too, sexual permissiveness has been very common for at least since the 1920's, imo.

It just doesn't seem reasonable to believe that women are so universally or frequently coerced into giving sex to get decent jobs in this day and age.

I think Hannity is taking the right approach... often it is easier at first to pay out and sweep allegations under the table. but in the long run, if the allegations were basically baseless as some may be that only makes it worse.

"LET ME BE CLEAR": Sean Hannity's stern response to sexual harassment allegation

Fox News star and syndicated radio host Sean Hannity has issued a strong denial following a sexual harassment allegation made by attorney/blogger Debbie Schlussel, a former guest on Hannity's television show. At the core of Schlussel's charges is her claim that Hannity attempted to get her to come to his hotel room before and after his appearance in Detroit. Schlussel alleges her refusal to accept Hannity's invitation doomed her from future appearances on the popular program.

"LET ME BE CLEAR – THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual are 100% false and a complete fabrication.

This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.

The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with.

This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.

My patience with this individual is over. I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.

In this fiercely divided & vindictive political climate, I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views. I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American."

Bill OReilly has spoken briefly on his departure.
"I was very surprised how it all turned out," Mr. O'Reilly said of his forced exit last week from Fox News. "I can't say a lot because there's much stuff going on right now. But I can tell you that I'm very confident the truth will come out. And when it does — I don't know if you're going to be surprised, but I think you're going to be shaken, as I am."

"I can't say any more because I just don't want to influence the flow of the information, O.K.?" Mr. O'Reilly said. "I don't want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it. You, as a loyal O'Reilly listener, have a right to know, down the lane, what exactly happened and we are working in that direction." The re-emergence of Mr. O'Reilly, who was vacationing in Italy when Fox decided to dismiss him last Wednesday, came an hour before his successor at 8 p.m., Tucker Carlson, made his on-air debut in the time slot.

Back at Fox News, the pressure is on. Mr. O'Reilly was the linchpin of its evening lineup, with a loyal following that swelled to nearly 4 million viewers a night earlier this year. It was his best-ever viewership — and a bountiful lead-in for his fellow anchors.

But last week, with Mr. O'Reilly off the network, ratings fell.

I think Trump and O'Reilly deserved some of the accusations,.. but clearly others were lame at best and some were stories only a person with a clear bias could believe.. so as with them all now that he is out, the accusations will all of a sudden disappear.

I was sent a link to this and found it interesting insight...

I am not sure if the liberals intent was to do a hit piece and it fizzled.. but he did show why FOX and conservatives outshine liberals day in and day out...

That was the brilliance of the company's power structure. One misconception that outsiders always had about the channel is that we'd sit around all morning planning how to distort the news that day. But there was never any centralized control like that. No "marching orders," as it were. Instead, it was more a decentralized, entrepreneurial approach. Each show was an autonomous unit. Each showrunner — who had not risen to their position by being stupid — knew exactly what was expected of them, knew what topics and guests would be acceptable.

Theoretically, each show could talk about whatever they wanted to talk about, and take any angle they wanted to take, and book any guest they wanted to have on.

I guess liberals in the media sit around " all morning planning how to distort the news that day", so they expect everyone else to do it the same way... :? :???:

and as a liberal mole,.. somehow back in 2013 he missed all the sexual harassment... and throughout the piece he mentions powerful female execs.. powerful enough to stop O'Reilly from having guests on she disproved of.

Same here. Always looked forward to certain guests who were and are very knowledgeable and then O'Reilly wouldn't let them talk for all the interruptions to give his take on the story which we already knew.
