Bill Richardson

Saw him on meet the press. I do not think he has much of chance of getting elected. He seems to have a lot of past problems he had to skirt around when being asked about them. He spent more time admitting he was wrong than stating his positive attributes.

Only good thing about him I saw was he was a Dem with a conservative view of gun laws.

He's Vice-President material only and I'm sure he knows it. That's probably what he's really after - the #2 slot. He's got plenty of foreign affairs experience to help hitlery or osama obama overcome their lack of it.

Not to mention the fact that he will help one of them lock up the Hispanic vote. Add all of that up...his Cabinet experience - something to counter the dem top-runners' lack of experience in foreign affairs, plus handing them the Hispanic vote...Richardson on the ticket hands it to the dems in '08.

You really think a Hitlery and Richardson ticket is likely and if so do you really believe they can win?

Yep-- I agree with Texan- he will settle for #2 spot-- and with the state of disarray and division the Republican Party is in either Hitlery or Obama could win...And Dems will win the Hill bigtime...
Right now Republicans are leaderless and going in a dozen different directions- and it may be too late for someone to be found that can unite them...

Montanas Republican Party can't even come up with a leader for themselves after they fell apart during the legislature- let alone have any input on a national plan...

I just have a hard time accepting that America could vote in Hillary, no matter who her running mate is. Maybe it is wishful thinking, no offense but I sure hope I am right and you and Texan are wrong! (need a kneeling and praying emoticon here)

I don't know how likely the ticket is, but at this time, I would be willing to bet money on that ticket winning. I think Gore is the big wildcard in everything for the dems right now, as far as figuring out who will be at the top of the ticket.
