Billionaires lining up behind Hillary

I guess they have gotten used to all the extra money a Democrat president directs their way.

George Soros is on board. So are a bunch of other billionaires, many of whom are also denizens of Wall Street.

Why is it that so many of the 1% support so called “progressive” candidates? Why would they support those who seek to expand the footprint of government? Isn’t that against their interests?

That’s what many of these super donors are happy to have you think.

Billionaires Alice Walton, George Soros and Marc Benioff are helping to finance a super-political action committee encouraging former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run for president, according to a report filed yesterday with the Federal Election Commission.

Walton, the daughter of Bentonville, Arkansas-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. founder Sam Walton, is the world’s 13th-richest person with a fortune of $33.9 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

I thought liberals hated Walmart?

In six years as a member of the Wal-Mart board of directors, between 1986 and 1992, Hillary Clinton remained silent as the world's largest retailer waged a major campaign against labor unions seeking to represent store workers.

Clinton has been endorsed for president by more than a dozen unions, according to her campaign Web site, which omits any reference to her role at Wal-Mart in its detailed biography of her.

An ABC News analysis of the videotapes of at least four stockholder meetings where Clinton appeared shows she never once rose to defend the role of American labor unions.

The tapes, broadcast this morning on "Good Morning America," were provided to ABC News from the archives of Flagler Productions, a Lenexa, Kan., company hired by Wal-Mart to record its meetings and events.

A former board member told ABCNews.com that he had no recollection of Clinton defending unions during more than 20 board meetings held in private.

The tapes show Clinton in the role of a loyal company woman. "I'm always proud of Wal-Mart and what we do and the way we do it better than anybody else," she said at a June 1990 stockholders meeting.

almost forgot about her cozy relations with Walmart..

but it was Bill who normalized trade with china who made Walmart what it is today.. so why wouldn't they pay Hillery back?

Hillary lobbies in India for ex-employer Wal-mart

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who once served on the board of America’s leading retailer and piled up a six-figure cache of company stock, is still plugging hard for the Arkansas corporate giant.

If you’re wondering why US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stopped in Kolkata before meeting with the Indian prime minister in New Delhi later this week, here’s a heads up.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, whose Trinamool Congress is essential to the survival of Manmohan Singh’s United Progressive Alliance government, was the main roadblock that stopped the Indian PM from implementing his decision to open up the so-called multibrand retail sector to foreign direct investment from companies like Walmart.

It will take some serious money on the table to convince her to change her position. And her leftist, pro-farmer stance (ill-considered or not) makes her a dogged opponent of a reform that many here see as the thin end of the wedge for increased globalization of agriculture. (Proponents say that companies like Walmart would bring massive infrastructure investments, eliminating much of the waste in India’s agricultural sector, and also create more jobs in the formal economy, where workers receive the benefits of the minimum wage law and other legal protections).

I would bet even her huge donation and cozy relations with Walmart won't put a dent in the Union support..

liberals never seem to learn..

CNN/ORC Poll: Christie's loss appears to be Clinton's gain

Washington (CNN) - What a difference two months makes.

In late November and early December, in the wake of Chris Christie's landslide re-election victory, the Republican governor from New Jersey was riding high in the polls.

Christie topped the other potential GOP 2016 White House hopefuls in surveys of Republicans' choice for their next presidential nominee, and he was knotted up with Hillary Clinton in hypothetical general election showdowns.

Now, after month of intense media scrutiny over a couple of controversies in his state, Christie's numbers have faded, according to a new CNN/ORC International survey.

In a possible 2016 matchup with Clinton, the poll indicates Christie trails the former secretary of state by 16 percentage points, with Clinton at 55% and the Governor at 39% among registered voters nationwide. That's a dramatic switch from December, when Christie held a 48%-46% edge over Clinton.

And as Repubs continue to eat their own- Hillary picks up more backing...
And has been shown in the past elections- Billionaires don't like to back losers...

Another article that proves Dems don't hold their candidates to a very high standard. The only thing Hillary is responsible for is a preventable TERRORIST attack that resulted in four dead Americans she was to protect in a dangerous area and the Dems feel she is a prefect candidate to stuff down the voters throats with all that big donor money.

I will bet come election time Hillary will be claiming all her campaign donations came from grass root donors $5 at a time just like Obama did. And b*itching about Millionaires and Billionaries like all these HILLARY DONORS are destroying the US with their GREED just like Obama did. And I will bet the Democrat voters will eat up every stinking lie she spews just so they can make history by voting for the first Female President just like they did with Obama. You can not fix Stupid.

What do you think Hillary is going to have to promise the Unions to get their backing, after Obama refuses to sign the Pipeline project that the Unions support, Dems inflicted the Obamacare healthcare policies on their members and now Hillary herself has been bought by Walmart an ANTI UNION Corporation? It would really be something if the Unions bosses walked away from the Dems in 2016 out of protest for what is going on in that party. Not that I ever expect the Unions to support the Republicans but it would be fun to see what the Dems would do if they didn't have their Union support for even one big election.
