Boehner and McConnell

I received a request from the Bevin campaign to contribute to defeat Mitch McConnel in the Republican primary this year. Apparently, McConnell is too liberal for this faction of the party.

Boehner and McConnell do as good a job as they can in the situation the country finds itself in. With the media in the liberal corner, they walk a fine line trying to advance the republican agenda without the media climbing onto every word they say.

If Bevin really wants to help the party, go find some liberal democrat to oppose. He ought to be able to go to any state and run like Barney Frank, Elizabeth Warren or our local Senator Udall.

Actions to split the conservative vote off will result in democrat victories. Just remember that Ross Perot gave the presidency to Clinton, Nader caused Gore to lose to G. W. Bush and George Wallace split the democrats years ago.

If the republicans gain control of the senate and keep the house, they can pick a new leader. If they don't, we are where we already are.

I actually like the Republicans getting rid of all the RINO's. If the left goes "Lefter" and the right goes "Righter", a showdown is imminent.

the TEA party and many grassroots conservative organizations are trying to run new candidates in primaries..

and this should happen in all races.. just because the guy has been there awhile doesn't mean he is still the best guy to represent your state..

so a primary challenge is often a good idea.. as long as it is an honest decent campaign it will be good for the party..

but most conservatives realize if we lose the vote in a primary it is our duty and obligation to then support the best remaining candidate.. and that is the republican incumbent.

fight in the primaries,.. unite for the general election... it's either that or expect nothing to ever change in DC
