President Obama bristled during a press conference on Tuesday when asked whether his second-term agenda is failing after the first 100 days.

Coming off defeats on the issues of gun control and sequestration and facing an uphill battle on immigration reform, Obama was pressed on whether he still had the “juice” to get things accomplished in Washington.

“Maybe I should just pack up and go home,” Obama shot back. “Golly. You know, I think it’s a little, as Mark Twain said, you know, ‘Rumors of my demise may be a little exaggerated’ at this point.”

The remark was a far cry from the triumphant tone heard in 2009, when Obama proclaimed he was “proud of what we’ve achieved” and “pleased with our progress” after 100 days in the Oval Office.

Now, constrained by a House Republican majority that rejects his agenda, the president was left Tuesday to explain why his reelection victory hasn’t translated into legislative success.

Fielding questions from reporters for just the third time this year, Obama lashed out at the GOP — and House Republicans in particular — for resisting his proposals while conceding that his efforts to channel public pressure against Congress have come up short.

“The surge in popularity that Obama enjoyed after his reelection has faded, and his outreach efforts to Republican lawmakers have yet to produce any breakthroughs.

OUTREACH EFFORTS H*LL

Just how many times does Obama get to publicly blame all his failures on the Republicans and still expect them to work with him on his next foolish budget bust spending bill?

How many times does he get to LIE to the American public before they realize they are BEING USED?

The man has an agenda to DESTROY THE US and anyone standing in his and his corrupt criminal handlers way are going to be under the train when it crashes and burns.

Or maybe he's just having a tantrum because he hasn't gone off for a vacation in a couple of weeks!

Has anyone run the numbers to see what costs US the least, him being home 'working', or he and or his family flying off on a vacation????

CBS: Illegals Entering US Triple With Talk of Immigration Reform

Arrests of illegal immigrants crossing into the United States have nearly tripled in recent months in anticipation of Congressional efforts to enact comprehensive immigration legislation, border patrol agents told CBS News Wednesday.

In March, 7,500 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, which includes McAllen, Cabrera told CBS News. That’s up from 2,800 in January.

In February, nearly 4,800 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande, the local news website The Monitor.com reports.

In fact, agents in McAllen used their station’s carport to process nearly 900 illegals caught over three days in March, according to the Monitor.com.

Border Patrol agents have become so concerned about overcrowding and unsanitary conditions that they’ve complained to local and federal officials, the Monitor.com reports.

Many illegals are caught while traveling through the brush between Hidalgo and Sullivan City in Texas, a winding 30-mile stretch of the Rio Grande.

It’s popular with immigrants, who speed across the Rio Grande and assimilate into the small towns along the border, the Monitor.com reports.

Immigration into the United States had been slowing during the recession.

But, CBS says, hopes of gaining citizenship under new legislation and a rebounding U.S. economy are fueling the fresh migration.

Smuggling illegals increases threefold.. Obama points at all the new jobs the immigrants are creating

Napolitano disputed Republican arguments that the border was not secure, saying such allegations were not reasonable because the border is “safer than it has been in decades.”

PLEASE SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT WOMAN
