I looked out the window and found this bull playing around with a lick tub. The video is kind of long but is somewhat amusing.

We had a bull one time that was ammused with a bunch of fake flowers. They got blown away in the wind and ended up in the cow yard. He'd grab them in his mouth and shake his head up and down, up and down. Was really funny. He was playing with them for half an hour.

Nice videos, Lazy Ace and TTB. The red cattle look very nice.

We fed hay along a trail road one time. The horses were eating this hay, and there were some sunflowers in the mix. One horse started to eat a dried sunflower stem, and as he had it in his mouth the weed spooked him. He didn't have enough sense to open his mouth and let the weed fall to the ground. It was funny watching the horse as he stampeded around the pasture going full tilt, with that sunflower flogging him in the neck with every stride. He could have been up for a Darwin award. :?

When I was a kid we had a hereford bull who would fight with my shetland pony. The bull had the back pasture and the pony had the front pasture. There was a connecting lane so everybody could get water. If they saw each other coming down the lane toward whoeveres pasture the chase was on. The bull wouldchase the pony back to his pasture and then since the bull was in the ponies pasture he would have to chase the bull back to his. And then it would start all over again. This might go on for hours. It would make dad so mad he would stand out at the fence yelling at them since you sure didn't want to get in their way. Still don't know which was funnier the critters or dad.
