Apparently being a Christian, at least an evangelical Christian, doesn't make your marriage any more secure. Link below; my emphasis.

"Born-again" Christians are more likely to go through a marital split than are non-Christians, according to a new study by the Barna Research Group.
Using statistics drawn from a nationwide survey of nearly 4,000 adults, the Barna data show 11 percent of the adult population currently is divorced but that 25 percent of all adults have experienced at least one divorce.
Among "born-again" Christians, 27 percent currently are divorced or previously have been divorced, compared with 24 percent among adults who are not "born again."
Surprisingly, the Barna report said, the Christian group whose adherents have the highest likelihood of getting divorced are Baptists. The only group to surpass Baptists were Christians associated with non-denominational Protestant churches.
This research underscores the need for church-based marriage and family enrichment ministries, according to Mike Lundy, family ministry associate with the Texas Baptist Christian Life Commission.
"What the figures reveal is that Baptist families are experiencing the same stresses as those in society at large," he said.
And Baptists and other evangelical Christians are responding to those stresses in the same way as the larger culture, he added. "We've created a climate for divorce in our society, and Baptists seem to be reflecting the values of society."

Things aren't always as they seem Dis. I for example am a registerd Democrat.

Divorce rates among those that follow Biblical standards are lower.

Premarital Sex

Men and women who marry as virgins are significantly less likely to divorce. Men who marry as virgins are 37% less likely to divorce and women who marry as virgins are 24% less likely to divorce (Laumann, Gagnon, Michael, and Michaels 1994).

Here's another one
Scott Stanley found similar results in his complex analysis of marriage and divorce in Oklahoma:

Whether young or old, male or female, low-income or not, those who said that they were more religious reported higher average levels of commitment to their partners, higher levels of marital satisfaction, less thinking and talking about divorce, and lower levels of negative interaction. These patterns held when controlling for such important variables as income, education, and age at first marriage.3
The specific numbers on the relation between church attendance and marital happiness are as follows:

the graph didn't show up right here's the link.

What makes you think I "worry" about this? I just found it interesting that the people who often set themselves up to tell the rest of us how to live actually have a higher divorce rate than the most of the religious community. Would you like to comment on the article instead of bashing me?

My marriage was great when I was gone working most of the time and we only saw each other a couple of times a month.
