Is that thing hard on your ropes?

It is not too hard on ropes. We have two plates of steel 4 inches x 5 inches, with rubber baler belting attached. When the two plates come together the rubber belting is what holds the rope. Since the pressure is distributed across quite a bit of width, it doesn't seem to be hard on ropes. This took a bit of perfecting, because our earlier prototypes were hard on ropes. Even the original tree crotch was hard on ropes, which is why we tried to perfect that method.

You should put a video onyoutube-you can edit it so you never miss a loop. I've got two teenage daughters so shouldn't run out of wrestlers for a few years yet lol.
