Here is a picture I should have entered. It fairly well captures the spirit of the brand theme.
Our local brand board and the lady who has just recently refurbished and repainted the brands. My dad instigated this brand board
back in 1964 as a fund-raising project for the Methodist Church. At the time, for $20 you could have your brand placed upon a plank.
The work was all done with hammers and wood chisels. It has stood the test of time quite well.
