FOX just announced they heard from CIA agents on the ground in Benghazi that the Obama Administration denied three requests for them to go in to help those in the consulate. Reportedly they were told to stand down and not go in.

If that is true Obama administrations orders aided in the death of those four and I hope the families DON"T LET HIM GET AWAY WITH IT.

EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the Consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The quick reaction force from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the Consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

All I can say is:

Mr. obama please stand down

I'm surprised at your saying 'please', Larry. :D

We need to demand that he step down. This gets worse with
each passing day. Mr. Woods was on Fox this morning talking about what happened to his son and it was very moving.

I'm ashamed this happened. I'm ashamed of the Obama administration.
And I'm ashamed of the MSM. They have created some of this by giving Obama a pass on everything. The blood is on thier hands too.

Thank the Good Lord for Fox News. Otherwise we probably would never know the whole story.

The thing is a normal American would have had heads rolling the next day. If it wasn't obamas fault like the koolaid drinkers say then he should have been firing people right and left on the 12th. But no hr covered it up and attacked something that had no bearing on the situation. He needss to go.

You on the left if you don't demand it I can tell you that you will hear "I told you so" like you never have before. Step up and do the right thing

Yes and it's been more than 6 weeks and Obama has done nothing except send in the FBI which was a total failure. Don't you think this emboldens
the terrorists?

Obama is a liar and a failure. How this election race is so close is beyone
rational thinking.

it is hard to believe that any president would stand by and do nothing... it is inconceivable to think he would order others to do nothing... but facts are facts...

Maybe the question needs to turn to Why?

I seldom buy into conspiracy theories ..but something really stinks here..

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct 19, 2012 — President Obama has nominated Army General David M. Rodriguez to succeed Army General Carter F. Ham as the commander of U.S. Africa Command, Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta said, October 18, 2012.

Why would a General who is in command of the region that includes Libya, decide to call it quits half way through his tour?

The rumour is he was also told to stand down and decided to ignore these orders. When that happened he was relieved of his command immediately. I have no official source for this information, but it's something to keep an eye on in the future.

Obama on Friday wouldn’t answer directly whether pleas for help on the ground were denied during the attack, telling KUSA-TV, “the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to.”

“A chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff doesn’t take an order from the president when he says ‘do everything’ and not put that in writing and send it out to the chain of command,” West said. “If that actually happened the way President Obama today said it happened, there’s a paper trail and I think people reasonably enough can say, ‘well can we see the order?’ because hundreds of others supposedly saw this order.”
