Mr. FH and his best friend are going to sell their coming 2-year old bred heifers. I told them I would talk about them on this site and see if there was any interest. Both sets of heifers have been ultra-sounded, vaccinated and on a Vigortone mineral program.
Mr. FH heifers are straight black angus heifers, bred to easy-calving Black Angus bulls that he has used for 3 years. They officially start calving March 20, but we always have some come 10 days early. The bulls were in for 42 days. I am not at home so I can't put pictures up of them, but I will take some pictures and add them in a few days. They are really nice looking heifers. I think there are 39 or 40 and he is not keeping any back.
His friend has 96 head that are mostly Black Angus with a bit of black
Simmental influence in them. He bred them to straight Black Angus easy calving bulls. They start calving March 20 also and the bulls were in only 22 days. He has used these bulls before and know that they truly are easy calving bulls. He also is not keeping any back.
These are one-brand cattle from each rancher as these were the replacement heifers for each ranch. No heifers were purchased.
They will sell the heifers together or separately.
They want $1000/head for them and that price is firm.
Send me a PM if you are intersted. I'm not home, so it will take a bit
for me to get my messages but don't give up!
