Picked up these 2 yesterday afternoon. The one on the right is our son's to replace a cow he sold. The one on the left is our daughters. She is replacing her heifer that died this fall.

Both worthy of being replacements. More partial to your daughters heifer, but both should do good. Hopefully didn't break the bank on them. I would like to buy a few locally, but people have them priced (opens and breds) crazy.

Pics made them look smaller then what they really are. Came close, but didn't break the bank. :D Wish the hubby and I had some extra cash and we would have bought a couple for ourselves.

Guessing they are around 800-900 pounds. Born mid March. Son's is around 100 days bred and daughter's is around 120 days bred. They should start around March 10th.

They look good. It sure would be easy to buy a boatload of good ones around here right now Aaron. If they're priced high in your neck of the woods, ask around if anyone wants some Galloways. I'm easy to deal with.

There is only one purebred Galloway producer in our area. I don't think he sells any breeding stock locally, it all goes across the country. Willow-Mor Farms. They get discounted about the worst at the local mart, so I don't buy into them.
