I have been very surprised at the drop in prices lately for bred heifers, Sold 80 early on this fall for $1200. Got another 100 (60% safe to AI)selling for $1100. They summered in High Mountain Pasture. They will calve March and April and some into the first of May. They are Black and BWF. They have been ultrasounded for Carcass Merit before breeding and than when we AI'ed them, we bred the BWF to Black Angus Bull, SAV Pioneer 7301, http://genex.crinet.com/beef/index.php?action=DETAIL&code=1AN01141&lang=EN ,
and than the Black ones were AI bred to a Colyer Hereford bull,
