A couple of horses went over a bridge in Calgary into the bow river a few years ago because they were spooked by a train (much like pigeons flying up). There are a few bridges on here that don't look safe for horses for sure. What is with the first photo?

Number 4, Multnomah Falls near Portland, OR is probably one of the most photographed bridges in the country. It is impossible, at least with my camera, to get both the top and the bottom of the falls in the same picture. Walking across that bridge makes you think twice!

the bridges i don't mind, it's the water underneath i don't like. kinda like not being afraid of heights, just afraid of falling.

The first photo was taken in 1969, and is the bridge east of Valentine, Nebraska crossing the Niobrara to the Fort.
The bridge was only setting about 4 inches on the concrete abutment on the far side when a local lawyer came down the hill and it is thought that the hit the edge of the bridge pushing it off the concrete.
It doesn't show up too good, but there is a car on the bridge at the far side.

Wow, interesting story, Martin, Jr.

All were neat bridge pictures.
Mine was a footbridge at Whitehorse, Yukon Territory over the
Yukon River.

What were the other bridges? Be very interesting to hear what
they were.
