You have to stand or something or you will fall for anything.
Yesterday when some were posting and trying to undermine our troops and our society it was also the 90th anniversery of the first day of the Somme.
Im sure this means nothing to the hardcore liberal crowd who looks at the personal sacrifices that others make for unselfish reasons as nothing but the actions of suckers, but I will post it anyways.
On the first day of the Somme, over 50,000 casualties. The total cost of the Somme battle was over 650,000 casualties on our side alone by young men who believed in something bigger than themselves. By men who we owe what we have today.
I cant help but to be reminded of the last few words of Lieutenant Colonel McCraeverses before he died on the front.
"We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
What bothers me the most about the selfish hardcore Liberals is that its not enough for them, to just not contribute anything.
Its not enough for them to enjoy and profit by what is given to them.
What bothers me is when they have to try to tear down and undermine the ones who do go out and give of themselves to make a difference.
I guess this is how they feel better of there own selfishness and cowardness. Pretty sad really. I guess they think if they live long enough that someday their life will have meaning.
"Prosperity Divides"
I think some of you, have had things to easy for to long.
