Buchanan on Zimmerman, Trayvon, Obama

That thought must be coursing through the mind of President Obama right now as his White House rigs for silent running in the murder trial of George Zimmerman.

Obama foolishly inserted himself into this volatile case weeks ago, and injected the issue of race. Expressing empathy with the family of Trayvon Martin, Obama flashed a signal of racial solidarity:

"If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon."

Obama also implied that he shares the liberal perspective that America is a country where black kids must walk in daily fear of white racist vigilantes.

"All of us have to do some soul-searching to figure out how does something like this happen. And that means that we examine the laws and the context for what happened, as well as the specifics of the incident."

Translation: The death of Trayvon tells us something is wrong with America.

It may come back to bite him a little. From what I gather, Hispanics already feel that blacks get preferential treatment in the US and this is just one more example of the governmnet siding with blacks, at the expense of a hispanic

There is a bigger divide there than between black and white races. And the way this whole deal was handled just widened the gap.

Why would illegals want citizenship? They have more rights as illegals under obama.

This story has me scratching my head and here is why. Obama is 50% Black and 50% White, his skin is Black so he will go down in History as the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT. Then you have Zimmerman who is 50% Hispanic and 50% white, he looks Hispanic yet he will go down in History as the WHITE GUY that hunted down a BLACK CHILD like he was a rabid dog and shot him. Zimmerman looks no more white than Obama does so why is one judged by what he looks like as in skin color and the other is not?

Here is why I believe this is the case, Obama/Dems wants a RACE WAR ON WHITES to whip up their Black base before the November election. BUT they can't afford to p*zz off another large block of their voting base , the Hispanics, so the liberal bias media, the Democrat Black Causus and the Democrat Black Activists like Sharpton, Jackson and the New Black Panthers tag Zimmerman as a WHITE. If DEMOCRAT voters are told he is a WHITE GUY their Koolaid Soaked brains will see what the Democrats want and blame Republicans the evil WHITE PEOPLE for everything bad that happens when the BLACKS start Rioting.

The other thing that has me scratching my head is If Trayvon's mother just wants the law to work and to get answers to why her son is dead like she is saying to every media commentator that invites her on their show, then why when Sharpton, Jackson, the Black Congressmen, and the New Black Panthers put out a death warrent on Zimmerman with their race baiting hatred didn't she go to those same media outlets and tell all of them to cool it that her family did not support their actions and does not want blood running down the street over her son's accidental death. I say accidental death as that is what she called in while on one of those many news outlets.

most of the news relies on misinformation in this case... some of that misinformation borders on outright lies,..

had Zimmerman had a Hispanic father and a Hispanic name... this story would have never even made the evening news...

it is only national news because an uninformed person would assume he is white.. and that is because the news is "profiling" instead of reporting..
