I went to a small bull sale Saturday and was suprised at the low prices. BR Midland line bulls went for 1100 to 1300 dollars for yearlings and nice ready to work two year olds went for under 1500. Just wondering if this is a trend in your area or if the prices are up, I was thinkin' that folks are sitting on thier hands with the high prices of hay, seed, diesel, ect. and waiting until next year to buy bulls if they don't have to buy one this year? Just curious how things are in ya'lls neck of the woods? I guess if you are buying a bull or two dozen lower prices are good and if ya need to sell half a hundred, you'd like top dollar. Even real nice registered hiefers were no-saled cause they couldnt get 900 for around a third of the offering. I was wishing the checkbook had actual money in it instead of the monopoly stuff!
