Bull on the right is a Trail Blazer hiefier bull.. I accidentally ran over him feeding with the tractor.. He seems to be okay now but will see during breeding season.

well, I see it is not safe to be near you at feeding time!!!

solid bulls, but a bit too dark for me.
father in law just dropped of his old Ochs Brothers bull this weekend. he is 5 but I needed a cheap gap filler, and I just LOVE his size.
I will try to get a pic on here.

I've clipped a calf or two.. Ran over one that was in the grass with my Quad.. I was only going 5-10 mph, looking for calves but the grass was 3 feet tall and you could barely see.. All of the sudden the right side pitched up and there he was... Didn't even make a sound.. Backed off him, hopped off, he hopped up and was gone,.. Sucker weaned off huge too come fall, probably top 10% of the calf crop I would imagine..

Katrina, you mentioned once you had some Tarentaise? That breed just mixed into your cows or do you run some of those as bulls too? Just curious..

Ill Rancher, We have some tarentaise cows... We needed to pump up our milk on our angus... And that was the breed my dad had so we traded some home raised bulls for some hiefiers... Bought some land and cows were 450 dollars apiece so bought some more older bred stuff from my dad... I will try and get some pictures for you of some 1/2 and 1/8 blood tatentaise-angus cows.. We crossed them with a hereford bull and was very happy with the results...

Is that a crowding Tub made by Scott in the background? I have one, what is your opinion of it. I have been mostly happy with mine. I added an extension to the tub so it has 2/3 of circle on the tub.
