This was our first stop on our way to Alaska. I deleted some of the pictures I took here, but I have a few to share. Again, I hope we
can repay everyone's hospitality that invited us to stop. It was
a great trip. From the plains to the mountains to the coast of Alaska.
7350 miles...and almost 7350 smiles...

So much grass. It was great to see that wonderful country with
grass blowing in the wind. (and there wasn't much wind. )
Beautiful day.

Mr.FH and BMR taking a look around. If I remember correctly, according to BMR, that is a lake that hasn't had water in it for years.

The haze in the air that day was smoke from the fires in Jigger Boss and Gcreek's area. :?
I'm sure glad you had a great trip. It's pretty neat that you looked up so many from ranchers.net. :D

Too bad I deleted some, and those I took at your place, hillsdown.
I'm still upset at myself for doing that.

How can I get the picture you sent me enlarged so I can
frame it for my wall? Can that be done from an email...
should I just get photo paper for my printer and try that?

Meeting everyone we did was the best part of the trip...

FH just get a memory stick and save it to that and then take it in to any photo place and they will be able to enlarge it and print it for you.

I just wish that Mr HD was home for more than a quick drop in. I would have liked to have at least done a great homegrown Alberta beef dinner for you . Next time for sure.

Thething I can't figure out is with that view, why did it take so long for BMR and Mantracker to catch their "prey"? :p

Stillhunting would work well in that country. :D

Lots of great friendships are being made on this site. :) :cboy: :cowboy: :tiphat:

That is surely true. When harvest is done I would like to come and meet you. Coffee at Mossleigh? I am pretty sure I already know a few of your relatives.

You should go see the Gerts. :D

A little ear on those red cows of yours wouldn't hurt. :D

Yeah like BMR said. You may as well drive the extra 6 miles and come and see Arctic Gerts while sipping coffee. ........ :)

If you have a Walgreens near you...you can email pictures directly to them. They print them, and you pick em up after a certain time the next day. I know they do bigger prints. But I don't know how long that takes. I think they hafta send it off for anything bigger than 8x10....but their prices are wonderful!!!!

That's what I did with the pictures for Lil Lilly's graduation. I got over 100 pictures for like $19 and some odd cents.
