Bush gets blamed for all the mess. but it is CONGRESS who must pass his ideas. so the congress passed Slick Willies fannie/ freddy plan to loan money to people KNOWING that they could not pay for them, now the bottom falls out on Bush, and he gets the blame, while the corrupt dem leaders are left untouched, and still running the finance part of the congress.....

now barak the magic negro, is going to have congress just GIVE these homes to the people who defaulted on them..... that is what some congressmen suggest anyway.....

how can we teach kids to grow up and work hard for what you want, when you have a govt body showing them to fail misserably, and just get what you want from the govt. ??

it is truly sad.

It is truly sad I agree with you there jigs. A lot of kids are smart enough and listen enough to see how corrupt our politicians are/have been. To watch our leaders tends to teach our kids to grow up and be crooks-prosper at all costs, to heck with your fellow man. I heard a local used car dealer say one time "Everybody has to beat somebody".

Jigs the president is responsible for the execution of the laws that Congress' passes. If anyone had watched the testimonies on C-span they could have seen that the oversight was purposely non-existent. He chose not to oversee the regulations that existed. He hasn't been the first president to do this but that doesn't excuse him. The Supreme court ruled in favor of the Indians' land ownership in Georgia during Andrew Jackson's tenure but Jackson refused to send the military to do what the Supreme court had ordered basically- remove the settlers. Bush chose not to enforce the controls that would have saved us this mess we're in. JMHO

The work I do is totally volunteer...I get no reimbursement/salary at all...not even when I drive 200 miles in one day. And, I'm happy to do it.

Robert Mac, party affiliation doesn't distinguish between crooks. But still the president was the top man in charge.
