buying heifer calves

I have a friend looking for 3 loads of #1 angus heifers to breed for replacements. If anyone has that many 1 iron heifers they want rid of that are fancy, send me a pm. 550 to 600 weight.

I have a customer selling 400 head of ranch raised Red Angus open heifers next week.

Sorry Brian, they have to be black. He uses some reds for himself but raises these to sell and thinks they're easier to move but he's never tried a set of reds. I'll ask him to make sure though.

They just sold 1/2 their steers - 776 head, and they had 5 loads that weighed from 530 to 560, one load at 619 lbs, one load at 594 lbs and one load at 490 lbs. So I am guessing he should have he should have 3 to 4 loads weighing between 500 to 550 lbs. According to the market, I think they will bring between $120/cwt to $130/cwt. These red heifers up here are bringing steer price or more and he got from $118.75/cwt up to $127.25/cwt, with the majority around $122 to $123/cwt.
