Calf Shelters

This is the shelter I use. They are more expensive than a wood one but it will last a long time. They won't blow away in the wind and they are almost indestructable. Runnings in Bismarck sells them and I believe premier equipment in Mobridge SD sells them also.

We made 4 shelters by cutting a 10,000 gallon steel tank into four pieces and adding pipe for skids and supports. Since we started calving later we hardly ever need them anymore. The nice thing is they are so heavy they will never blow over.
