If a woman takes Plan B within 72 hours of unprotected sex, she can lower the risk of pregnancy by up to 89 percent. Plan B is different from the abortion pill: If a woman already is pregnant, Plan B has no effect.*

Sorry I'm saving all my abortion outrage for Late term abortions until they are out lawed...

"
The point at which an abortion becomes late-term is often related to the viability (ability to survive outside the uterus) of the fetus. Sometimes late-term abortions are referred to as post-viability abortions. However, viability varies greatly between pregnancies. Nearly all pregnancies are viable after the 27th week....

In 1997, the Alan Guttmacher Institute estimated the number of abortions past 24 weeks to be 0.08% (approximately 1,032 per year)...

The Alan Guttmacher Institute collected questionnaires from women who were at abortion clinics procuring (late term) abortions.

71% responded "did not recognize that she was pregnant"..

so at almost 7 months,,,,,71% didn't know they were Pregnant?

.
The report did not indicate that any of the (late term) abortions,... were performed because of maternal health problems.

71% because that forgot they were Pregnant, (or were to stupid to know) and "zero" for health reasons..

at that I am outraged...

Really this isn't a news flash. Any woman who has ever taken BC pills knows that you can basically OD on them and it is the same as the Plan B.

AND...if you believe that the high doses in Plan B DOES NOT affect/effect an implanted fetus...I've got some beach prop in AZ I'd love to talk to you about!

Get out your wifes, daughters, girlfriends BC package instructions and READ IT!!
Those hormones pack a wallop on the fetus if you take them w/o knowing you're preg.

I tried to make sure I seperated thier words from my views......and believe I did....

any pill would effect a fetus, adversely.....and in time studies will show that even this pill would do harm....but only after many babies are adversely affected or aborted will the truth come out......and then attempts to remove the pill from the market will be squashed with womans rights over babies arguements......

some facts: and my sarcasm....
Exactly how emergency birth control pills prevent pregnancy is not clear. Some theories are.....
we don't know how it works......but what the heck it works.....so it must be okey......

f the emergency birth control pills fail to prevent pregnancy, or you are already pregnant when you take them, there is no evidence that the pills will harm you or the baby.
Yet........

Typically, it takes about three months for full fertility to return.....Allow your body to go through one or two regular menstrual cycles. This will help your body get back in sync again, and will also help you to pinpoint your ovulation dates.....

but other then that it's safe.........?
