You like putting words in people's mouths, don't you? Did I say he was a coward? Show me where I said that...I'd like to see it.
Put this in your pipe and smoke it...replace the Super Bowl with the game for the college national championship. Replace Carolina with Nebraska, and Denver with any team, but preferably an SEC team.
Now let's say the Nebraska QB was the greatest thing since sliced bread, celebrating, dancing, and jacking his jaw 24/7, and has almost single handedly won a bunch of games this season....let's call him "Fig".
Game time...Fig and his team get their butts kicked 7 ways from Sunday by the SEC team. Fig is having his worst day, EVER. Nothing is going right or working. Frustration is building in Fig. It gets so bad at one point that Fig just stands there with a loose ball right at his feet and does not much of anything. It's apparent that Fig has all but given up at that point. Nebraska loses, practically humiliated.
Fig then shows up at the post game press conference dressed like Trayvon Martin, answers questions with monosyllables, and abruptly walks out. On national television.
Had that been the case, with Nebraska and their QB, you would have NEVER let me hear the end of it. EVER. But since Cam is your guy, his behavior is wonderful. Any thinking otherwise should not be tolerated. And you know damn good and well that it's the truth.
All the video you want to post can't ever change what Newton did, or failed to do last Sunday night. I hope the kid grows up and learns what it's like to be human. Maybe he will, who knows? But you just keep your head right up where it is. You must like the view.
