My grandson, son and I were hunting mustangs on the Cedar Mountain a few years ago. There were quite a few bands in the area. (West of Salt Lake about ninety miles.)
Cooler weather is a plus, but I didn't want to get wet.
We saw this yearling, that didn't want to get up. We could tell he was hurt, but we didn't want to aggravate him, so we didn't get too close.
When I saw him a year later, it was easy to tell he hadn't been walking much on that right front foot.
When the wind is blowing the right way, It's possible to "get up close and personal."
It's always good to acknowledge those who made it all possible.
