most don't,

they just vote for who the liberal media picks as the top tier front runner...

or they vote against someone, who they told to hate...

Most elections, it's not an easy thing. This year is much easier for me.

1. I don't want another inexperienced governor running this country.
We lucked out with Clinton; we bottomed out with Bush. It's going to take a lot of work, diplomacy, and smarts to get us back on track after the disaster of this administration.

2. I don't want the mayor of a major US city running this country.

3. I don't want another actor running this country, especially one with limited political experience.

4. I don't want Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich running this country. They're too far out there.

I can come up with some other things, but these are pretty high on my list of reasons not to vote for someone. I'll just have to sort out the remainder. Besides, some will drop out as the first primary votes are cast next month.

Mrs. Greg, that is a good question. The media has so much power to edit and make issues out of non issues etc. I think you just have to listen to the candidate themselves and try to not listen to the media's portrayal which is 80% of their coverage. It really is a rotten system to decide on the "leader of the world" and in Bush's case, someone who does not take the rule of law seriously.

I think most people would rather not be bothered with politics. It is only when politicians screw things up so much that they have to pay attention that it gets elevated to the list of something you must do something about. We are at that point now.
