Parade, pull and peruse day. No parade is complete without ponies.

Looks like a fun day! We're just busy digging out the mosquito repellent so we can go see the fireworks.  :D :D :D :D :D

Nice parade photos that brought back memories. My grandparents from Minnesota had a car identical to the Pontiac, right down to the red and black color, that they used to drive to the Nebraska Sandhills once or twice a year. They had the car for many years, but it saddened me when they painted it all black instead of the original red with the black.

We were planning on moving some cows today, but the two inches of rain we got this morning pretty much shut that down. No way the trailer was going to make it down the back roads after that.

Just what we needed. More rain.

Glad somebody got the day off, looked like fun.

It was hot here and we worked cattle ALL day.
I got up first thing and sprayed before getting to play. As far as hobnobbing I kind of look at it as them hobnobbing with me. At the pull I attended as defending champ but this year was soundly trounced by the 2 tractors that were disappointed in their loss last year. One of them got disqualified for using radial tires so I was ahead of him in the standings but I got his message by over a 100 feet anyway.
