Can't come up with this song

This song has been running in my head for a day or two but only a few words of it.

I think it was the Statlers and the first few words are - if memory serves me correctly - " I would not mean to mislead you . . . ." I can hear it in my head but can't come up with any more of it :???:

The lead guy starts in with "I would" and holds it while two more parts join in at their respective times to make some really good harmony.

Anyone know what song I'm talking about?

But I did find this oldie while I was looking for the other one!

Yup that's it! I had the wrong group. The Gatlins were another of my favorite country bands,

The trouble with youtube is that you can get hooked on it all night . . .

Well since I seem to be on a bit of a country music kick, here's another great one from a great voice that I had forgotten about - Vern Gosdin. Neither did I know that Vern passed away about 1 year ago. He was a real country artist and represented everything that country music was at one time.

Some show on the Radio yesterday played Tommy Cash and Johnny Cash singing That Silver Haired Daddy of mine.

I guess they didn't sing together alot but when they did that was their favorite.
