so a mere seven years after finishing law school in debt... not only has Barack moved to a pricey condo.. but he has a new Jeep grande Cherokee limited.. (about $35,000)

Speaking today at Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit, United States President Barack Obama revealed that his first new car purchase came just ten years ago: A 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The President revealed details about the purchase while speaking after a tour of the assembly plant in Detroit that builds the Grand Cherokee. He told those gathered that he was excited to purchase his first new car - his first with power windows.

Obama put about 84,000 miles on the Jeep before trading it in 2004 on a Chrysler 300C, which later gave way to a Ford Escape Hybrid.

I sure wish I had to struggle like that.. :?

but the real story might be Obama tells of his first car...

"I have to confess; my first car was my grandfather's car," Obama told AAA in an interview. "Which was a Ford Granada."

having left Hawaii in 79, the car could not have been older then three years old...

and it could not have been the car now getting attributed to the rust clunker claim..

leaving a Fiat and the
When he was a law student at Harvard he drove a yellow 1984Toyota Tercel

about 4 years old when Obama was in law school... not exactly a clunker either.. but could be the rust bucket M speaks of..

why didn't she mention it was a Japanese rust bucket ?

and why is the media implying it was the Ford Granada ?
