For years we watched load after load of scrap iron and crushed cars come north from the US to IPSCO the steel mill pipe maker for making pipe line pipe. Now we are seeing crushed cars heading south. How far can they haul those an where is the closest steel mill to North east Montana?

It wasn't but a few months ago- the contractors were still hauling loads of scrap iron north (Regina area?)-- but I understand now the folks hauling the crushed cars from the junkyards are going south with them....I think Cowboyup said an acquaintance of his was hauling some south- when we discussing hauling hay this direction..
